We’re growing, which means we have space for a Marketing Assistant / Marketing Executive to join us.

The Marketing Junction is a marketing consultancy that works solely in the recruitment space.  Our typical client is between 2-40 heads.  Seldom do they have any marketing department, or if they do, it tends to be a more junior function.  Therefore we are the head chef and pot washer all in one!

We are now looking for someone who can come and work with some of our clients to deliver the marketing plans.

We are looking for someone who has experience – whether that be during a placement or through employment.

The job is varied.  We are looking for someone who is happy to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in.  Whilst we have access to designers and other professionals, we are ultimately working with other company’s money and so we are not splashing cash all over the place.  But we do invest in the right tools to do the job.

Be under no illusion: it is hard work with many competing priorities.  But it is also incredibly rewarding.

You will be working on projects ranging from social media planning and execution, eshot development, branding assignments, sales campaigns, collateral production, reporting,  through to promotional items purchasing, website liaison

You will need to be a great communicator, very well organised, committed, loyal and damn good at your job!

Above all – this role requires the very best written English.  Mistakes and poor grammar are not accepted by our clients.  It’s also important to be aware that this is an agency-side role.  It’s much more fast-paced than working in house; we are judged on results and output.

Whilst there will be the occasional trip (very rare) to the client site, you determine when these will be.
